Drawing on extensive training in multiple disciplines, she provides bespoke, integrative treatments designed to support your health, balance, and overall vitality.

With over two decades of hands-on experience in bodywork and acupuncture, Justine offers a deeply informed, holistic approach to health and well-being.
Before qualifying as an Acupuncturist, Justine spent more than ten years practising as a massage therapist, studying Shiatsu, Aromatherapy, and Traditional Thai Massage. This extensive background enabled her to develop her own unique style of Therapeutic Massage, which she often integrates with acupuncture treatments to enhance their effectiveness.

In 2009, Justine graduated from the University of Lincoln with a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture. Since then, she has continued to deepen her knowledge of both Chinese and Western medicine, completing a range of postgraduate studies — including specialised training in fertility and pregnancy Acupuncture, areas in which she has a particular professional interest.
In 2018, Justine travelled to China to study at the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine, further enriching her understanding of traditional techniques and philosophy.
Her commitment to ongoing learning continued in 2022, when she undertook training in Classical Chinese Herbal Formulas and Su Wen herbs, followed by postgraduate education with the International Menopause Society and the Menopause Movement.
Most recently, Justine has undertaken an auricular (ear) course called Battlefield Acupuncture, which can be very beneficial for managing pain.
Through this broad foundation of study and practice, Justine brings together traditional wisdom and modern understanding to provide truly individualised, compassionate care for every patient.
Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a key branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine, based on the principle that our health depends on the smooth, balanced flow of Qi — the body’s vital energy — through a network of channels known as meridians. When this energy becomes disrupted by factors such as stress, emotions, diet, or injury, it can lead to illness or discomfort. By inserting ultra-fine needles at specific points on the body, acupuncture helps to restore the natural flow of Qi, addressing both the underlying cause of imbalance and its visible symptoms.
Acupuncture can be beneficial for a wide range of conditions and is often used to support fertility, pregnancy, and menopause, as well as to ease stress, pain, and musculoskeletal issues. Many people also choose acupuncture as part of a preventative approach to maintain general health and well-being. Acupuncture is a safe, evidence-based therapy widely used for effective pain management, both chronic and acute.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) recognises acupuncture as a beneficial treatment for a wide range of pain-related conditions, including lower back pain, sciatica, neck pain, osteoarthritis, knee pain, headaches and migraines, shoulder pain, tennis elbow, facial pain, and postoperative pain.
As part of an integrative approach to care, acupuncture is often used in conjunction with conventional treatments to support pain reduction, functional improvement, and overall patient outcomes.
What to Expect
Your first appointment includes a full consultation to assess your health history, lifestyle, and emotional well-being. This allows Justine to create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs. She may also incorporate massage or gentle warming techniques such as moxibustion to enhance the effects of acupuncture.
The needles used are sterile, single-use, and extremely fine. Most clients describe the sensation as a brief tingling or dull ache followed by a deep sense of relaxation — many even drift off to sleep during treatment.
After Treatment
Following a session, it’s normal to feel calm and relaxed, and occasionally a little tired. In some cases, there may be a mild, short-lived flare-up of symptoms as your body rebalances — this is a natural part of the healing process.
Acupuncture is safe to combine with conventional medicine, but you should always consult your doctor before changing any prescribed medication.
Frequency of Treatment
Each person is unique, and the number of treatments needed varies. Many people begin to notice improvement within four to six sessions, usually starting with one or two appointments per week.

Acupuncture for Reproductive Health & Fertility

Becoming pregnant or starting a family can be a deeply emotional journey — and it’s not always as straightforward as we expect. Sometimes there are clear medical reasons for difficulties conceiving, sometimes there are none or it maybe that Assisted reproductive treatments are required due to a same sex relationship.
Many people are also choosing to begin their fertility journey later in life. When this is combined with the pressures of modern living, the process can feel even more challenging.
Acupuncture offers a supportive, natural approach to reproductive health. Research suggests it can help improve the chances of conceiving naturally and may also enhance outcomes when used alongside IVF, ICSI, and other assisted reproductive treatments.
Justine provides compassionate, personalised care for individuals and couples of all orientations seeking support with fertility, pregnancy, and reproductive well-being. Her treatments are designed to bring balance to both body and mind — helping to reduce stress, regulate cycles, and support the natural processes of conception and pregnancy.
Acupuncture during Pregnancy

Acupuncture can be hugely supportive throughout pregnancy—both for easing common symptoms such as nausea, back pain, and fatigue, and for preparing the body for birth. Because many medications are not advisable during pregnancy, acupuncture offers a safe, gentle, and effective alternative that also promotes relaxation and calm. One of its major benefits is the absence of unwanted side effects.
Pre-birth acupuncture can help optimise the body for an efficient labour, and acupressure techniques can be easily taught to your birth partner to provide comfort and support during labour itself. Breach babies can also be encouraged to turn using a non-invasive protocol that doesn't even require needles.
Justine has completed post-graduate training in Obstetric Acupuncture and continues to expand and refine her skills through ongoing professional development.
